Accessible Seating

There are four designated wheelchair bays.

The main auditorium is accessible by a ramp. There is a lift which travels to the first floor.


Accessible Facilities

There are two accessible toilets located on the ground floor foyer.


Accessible Parking

The free car park located next to the PLAYHOUSE has five Blue Badge Holder spaces.


Personal Assistant Policy

Where a patron with disabilities requires a personal assistant to attend then the combined total cost for patron and personal assistant will be equivalent to full price of one ticket.


Hearing 'T' Loop System.

Please advise when booking if access to the ‘T’ loop system is required. Rows D – M are located within the ‘T’ Loop System.


Assistance Dogs

Guide, hearing and other assistance dogs are welcome. Please be advised that some performances may have loud bangs; we recommend that show content is checked for suitability.

  • Saturdays 10.30am - 2.30pm

The PLAYHOUSE Whitley Bay Box Office has a low window to facilitate wheelchair access to services.
