World famous drummer Gordy Marshall has worked with the likes of Gary Barlow, Mariah Carey, Cliff Richard, Jeff Wayne and Joss Stone and spent 25 years touring the globe with The Moody Blues.

And next month (OCTOBER 17th), Marshall, is bringing his own band – GO NOW! – to the public with an incredible, innovative one-off show to bring back the magical experience of live music to fans in this time of Corona.
Gordy, who is based in London, says: “We are living through very strange and worrying times and never has live music been more important because it brings people together and just lifts everyone’s spirits.

“But theatres are closed, musicians cannot perform live which is heart-breaking to me as I’ve spent my whole life on a stage working with some of the most truly great performers. I didn’t want to sit back and do nothing, I wanted to do something different to remind everyone how wonderful that shared experience of a live concert is.

“We got the band together at a beautiful venue, the Harlequin Theatre in Reigate and played the best gig of our lives. Then we worked with incredible technicians so that if people at home want to join in and have some fun, it will be super special. They won’t feel they have front row seats; they’ll feel like they are on stage with the band.”

Nottingham-born Gordy, who started out his career aged 14 in the working men’s clubs around the Midlands and North of England, hand-picked his closest musician friends to perform in The Moody Blues covers band, GO NOW!
