The Whitley Bay Comedy Gala is back this August 2nd….and if you thought last time out we were spoiling you. Then you ain’t seen nothing yet. With an absolutely fantastic line-up of performers this show is shaping up to be one of the biggest nights of stand-up in the North East.
Joining us this time are….
Over a career spanning more than four decades, BOBBY DAVRO has become one of Britain's best-loved comedians and impressionists. From hit TV shows including Bobby Davro on the Box and Copycats to countless pantomime productions across the UK, he's entertained generations with his quick wit, unforgettable impressions, and boundless energy.
He's accidentally created a national catchphrase, shared the stage with Mickey Rooney in Milton Keynes, and still has plenty to say about reality television. One thing's for certain—Bobby has never had a filter, and we wouldn't want him any other way.
NINA GILLIGAN is a former Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year winner, Chortle Best Act, and recently crowned Comics’ Comic 2025, Nina is one of the most acclaimed and in-demand comedians in the UK. Outrageous, razor-sharp, and effortlessly hilarious, she’s guaranteed to bring the house down.
An award-winning comedian and regular headliner at top comedy clubs across the UK and beyond, FREDDY QUINNE is renowned for his sharp wit, relatable storytelling, and brilliantly crafted observations on modern life. He’s also co-host of the hugely popular Dead Men Talking podcast, which has built a massive following thanks to its fearless humour and candid conversations.
With his quick-fire comedy, distinctive voice, and authentic style, Freddy is guaranteed to be a highlight of the night.
