The Enid - POSTPONED

EVENT INFORMATION

  • Date: Saturday 22nd September
  • Time: 7.30pm

It is with great regret that, due to circumstances beyond their control, the artist has had to cancel this performance at the Playhouse, Whitley Bay.

The Enid are working hard to try and a reschedule the date for Spring 2013 for which tickets will remain valid. A formal announcement will be made as soon as possible. Please keep checking the website and local press for more details.

On behalf of the Promoter and Artist, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Formed in 1974 by composer Robert John Godfrey, The Enid are renowned for their large-scale, myth and fantasy-inspired instrumental pieces.

In the early 80’s The Enid became the first band ever to self-fund their recordings with contributions from fans in advance; a revolutionary concept that has since led to bands as diverse as Marillion and Radiohead taking lead from their approach.

2012 will see The Enid touring a choice of select venues in support of the Live At Symphony Hall release and also to showcase material from the new, upcoming studio album, “Invicta” which is set for release late 2012.
