Saturday Stage School presents Billy Elliot the Musical
This production of Billy Elliot the Musical is being produced as part of the Billy Elliot Youth Theatre.
Ten years ago, Saturday Stage School supplied some of the young and aspiring actors for the award winning 2000 film Billy Elliot. Now they have been selected to perform in the stage version of this highly popular stage show, written by Lee Hall with music by Elton John.
Billy is an 11 year old boy who stumbles out of the boxing ring and onto the dance floor during the deeply turbulent 1984 miner's strike. He faces many trials, namely his family - and more to the point - standing on his toes.
