Tynemouth Amateur Operatic Society presents OKLAHOMA!, the first musical to be written by Rodgers and Hammerstein back in 1943, and tells the story of cowboy Curly McLain and his romance with farm girl Laurey Williams.

Containing some of the team’s best-loved songs, including People Will Say We’re In Love;  Oh, What A Beautiful Mornin’;  The Surrey With The Fringe On Top;  I Cain’t Say No and the wonderful title-song Oklahoma, this award-winning musical remains as fresh and popular as it was almost seventy years ago.

An amateur production by Tynemouth Amateur Operatic Society.
