Two mighty forces combine in a first-time earth-shaking taiko concert tour, as Mugenkyo and Tokara celebrate the 20th anniversary of their meeting at the First European Taiko Festival. In 2016 they share the stage again, bringing a new dimension to Mugenkyo’s popular stage show.
Mugenkyo are the UK’s most successful touring taiko group, renowned for their high-octane energy, contemporary look & sound, and gritty passionate style. Japan-based Wadaiko Tokara thunder into the UK with a reputation of speed, precision and mesmerising martial power, with leader Art Lee winning prestigious awards for his electrifying Odaiko (big drum) performance.
