A major celebration of the borough's creative talent FEATURING The Keelers - Since their formation in 1986, The Keelers have established an international reputation as one of the finest shanty groups around Kate Fox - The renowned comedienne/performance poet, and star of BBC Radio Four Star of the Sea Choir - Beautiful harmonies from this much in demand Whitley Bay school choir North Tyneside Steel Band - Sunshine music from the award-winning outfit, celebrating its 21st birthday The Creels - The up-and coming Cullercoats duo. Everly Bros meet the Proclaimers with a North Tyneside flavour And for your delectation in the bar from 6.30pm and at the interval... Dillinger - The master of magic and illusion All proceeds from this concert go to the Children of Shatila Project - theatre from a Palestinian Refugee Camp, performing in North Tyneside in April 2011.
