A tribute to the MOODY BLUES

Enjoy the music of the Moody Blues in the company of six legendary musicians, singers and songwriters...

Drummer Gordy Marshall and keyboard player Paul Bliss performed together with The Moody Blues for over 20 years. They are joined by current 10cc lead singer Mick Wilson.

Leona Lewis and Westlife guitarist Tim Maple, James Blunt and Joss Stone bass player Malcolm Moore and flautist/singer/saxophonist Lindsay Goodhand complete the line-up.

It’s a chance to experience impeccable performances of classic Moody Blues hits including Nights in White Satin, Go Now, Tuesday Afternoon, Legend of a Mind (Timothy Leary’s Dead), I Know You’re Out There Somewhere, Question, Isn’t Life Strange – plus Forever Autumn and a show-stealing rendition of Eve of the War from Jeff Wayne’s The War of the Worlds.

The evening is an intriguing insight into the 'Kings of the Concept Album' – the Moody Blues. Relive classic, million-selling albums Days of Future Passed, In Search of the Lost Chord, On the Threshold of a Dream, To Our Children’s Children and more.

Gordy comes straight from 25 years of touring with The Moody Blues, his last performance with the Moodies being at the Glastonbury Festival. In addition to 20 years of touring with The Moody Blues, Paul has written hits for the likes of Olivia Newton-John, Janet Jackson, Uriah Heep, Al Jarreau, Graham Nash and Celine Dion as well as performing and writing for The Hollies for a number of years. When Gordy and Paul were touring with The Moody Blues together, they performed at thousands of venues all over the world, including the Hollywood Bowl, Wembley Arena, The O2 Arena and The Royal Albert Hall

Mick’s incredible vocals have also featured with likes of Lionel Richie, Kylie Minogue and Smokey Robinson. Tim’s credits include Westlife, Boyzone, Leona Lewis, Olly Murs, Emma Bunton, Ronan Keating, Beverly Knight.  Malcolm, as well as recording hits with the likes of One Direction and Alison Moyet, is a mainstay of many West End shows including Mama Mia, Rent and The Lion King. He has also toured with Westlife, Lulu and X-Factor Live, and acted as Musical Director for Natalie Imbruglia.

Prepare for an intimate evening of sensational musicianship and iconic songs that define a generation. www.grtentertainments.com
