Dr Death and the Medi-Evil Medicine Show presented by Day8 Productions *Change to Performance Schedule*

EVENT INFORMATION

  • Date: Tuesday 22nd October 2013
  • Time: 1.15pm only (10.30am performance ticket holders can attend show at 1.15pm)

A historically, scientifically accurate panto for children and other childish people.

Sneezes, wheezes, sickness and diseases are never welcome.  But in the past, some of the treatments could be worse than the underlying illness.  Join the time-travelling ‘Doctor Death’, Simon Watt, to see if he can ‘cure’ you.

Warning: This show promises blood, guts, gore and a lot more!

Simon Watt is a biologist, writer, science communicator and TV presenter. He runs Ready Steady Science, a science communication company committed to making information interesting and takes science based performances into schools, museums, theatres and anywhere else that will have him.  He is MC/president for life of the Ugly Animal Preservation Society which is a comedy night with a conservation twist.  As a writer he has written for national newspapers and websites including The Times, The Sunday Times and the Huffington Post. He is perhaps best known as a presenter on the BAFTA winning documentary series Inside Nature's Giants.
