The limited-edition release - entitled Artifacts from the Vault - will be accompanied by a new authorised biography with pre-orders going live tomorrow (Friday, July 18, 2025) at 10am and books being delivered in September.

The album and book comes in a number of limited-edition formats – with all copies signed and some featuring Stewart’s signed drum skins and drumsticks.

It is being released ahead of Stewart’s second run of the ‘Have I Said Too Much, The Police, Hollywood, And Other Adventures’ tour, which kicks off in September.

Stewart said: “I am really happy that this collection of never before released music can accompany a unique and very different authorised biography – I hope fans will enjoy it’s sideways take on my life as much as I enjoyed arguing with the author about all the details he insisted be included!”

As one of the greatest rock drummers of all time, Stewart drove the all-conquering success of The Police during the 1970s and 1980s, before being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

A multi-Grammy winner, who followed his work with The Police by composing music for soundtracks for Hollywood movies and then operas, Stewart is hitting the road for his most intimate tour to date.

Having played drums for Curved Air from 1975 to 1976, Stewart was the founding member of The Police, recruiting singer Sting and guitarist Andy Summers. His remarkable talent helped drive The Police to world domination between 1977 and 1986, and then again from 2007 to 2008 when the band reunited.

His Hollywood soundtracks include Francis Ford Coppola’s Rumblefish and Oliver Stone's Wall Street and Talk Radio. He wrote books, formed supergroups, made films, and composed music for ballet, opera, and classical concerts.

His tour will, once again provide a fascinating insight into his incredible life as a performer, musician, entertainer, and writer.

Pre-orders for the book and album go live at 10am on Friday, July 18, 2025. Pre order the book, and see full tour dates at www.stewartcopeland.net
