Playhouse celebrates first show in over a year

Following an extremely tough time for live events and hospitlity as a result of COVID-19 restrictions, after 19 months the Playhouse finally reopened its doors.

The event to kick off our updated calendar was the highly enegergetic Totally Tina - and boy did they do us proud. Hosting one of the worlds best Tina Turner tributes was always going to light up the venue but nobody could predict the impact hearing live music for the first time in over a year in our beloved venue would have. Starting the show with a thank you to staff and fans, acknowledging how tough it has been for everyone this last year caused loud cheers and clapping. Nobody expected the amount of emotions and tears when the music began though. Incredible. Fans really have missed live music.

Thank you to Totally Tina for an amazing first night. We would also like to thank our amazing staff and cusotomers who were just brilliant on the night.Thank you all for your continued support.
