What does 'concession' mean?

We are a recieving house at the PLAYHOUSE, which means a number of productions choose this venue to put on their performance, and they will set the ticket price.

Some shows will have a set ticket price, some will include a 'concession' or 'conc.' price.

Where you see 'concession' or 'conc.' listed in ticket prices this indicates there is a reduced ticket price for those who fall into the concession catagory.

The PLAYHOUSE defines a concession as any patron under the age of 16, or over the age of 60.
