for Local Talented Performers (Age 8-21) to star in

‘The Pied Piper’

Sunday 24th April

at PLAYHOUSE Whitley Bay

The search is on for talented young performers to star in the musical “The Pied Piper” written by Anne Dalton. Anne’s musicals, including “Peter Pan”, which visited The Playhouse last summer, have played to packed houses throughout the country and ABD Productions are expecting to repeat that success with “The Pied Piper”.

The professional cast will be enhanced by teams of handpicked, talented, local young performers. Older performers (male and female) are invited to attend to work alongside the professional adult cast in a variety of roles.

“The Pied Piper” is coming to PLAYHOUSE Whitley Bay from Thursday 4th August to Saturday 6th August. “We thought it would be a magical treat for families during the summer,” said the producers, ABD.

“There are opportunities for several principals and supporting roles and quite a number of ensemble performers,” says Anne, “but they must all be good all-rounders, respond well to direction and give 100 per cent commitment. I am really looking forward to the auditions and working once again with a cast of talented performers from the area.”

Auditions for “The Pied Piper” will take place on Sunday 24th April at PLAYHOUSE Whitley Bay. Auditionees need to register at 11.00am for under 16’s or 2pm for 16 & over. Come in comfortable clothing, appropriate footwear and bring drinks and lunch. You do not need prepared songs or backing tracks.
