Hiring of the PLAYHOUSE

The venue is available for a wide range of activities:

• Community organisations events
• Commercial Shows
• Private Functions
• Conferences with exhibition space

Community Organisation Events

Further to agreement with North Tyneside Council there are reductions for 'Not For Profit' and Charity community organisational groups who wish to stage their events at this venue.

• North Tyneside based groups can gain a 50% reduction on the normal commercial rate of venue or equipment hire.
• Groups based outside North Tyneside can gain a 30% reduction on normal commercial rate of venue or equipment hire.

We would be delighted to discuss proposed events and in the first instance please contact Ailsa Oliver - Theatre Director by email with a convenient time to discuss details with her.

Private Functions /conferences

We have different spaces available for hire either collectively or separately.
