The Ravenswood Singers and Opera Live present 'Vienna to Broadway'
The Ravenswood Singers and Opera Live invite you to join them on the 14th November, for a spectacular evening, combining Viennese elegance and glamour with the spectacular and energetic music of Broadway.
Our journey will start in Vienna, visiting Prince Orlofsky's palace in 'Die Fledermaus' and experiencing the wonderful melodies of the operetta, 'Brother Mine', 'Homeland', 'Women, Women', 'The Laughing Song'and on to ' Wonderful Gay Paree' and 'Pontevedro' in the fabulous operetta by Franz Lehar, 'The Merry Widow'!
Our second half will see us travelling to Broadway to sample the music of stunning musicals such as 'Wicked', 'Mamma Mia', 'Jekyll and Hyde' currently selling out in West end and Broadway theatres! An evening filled with glittering costumes, dancing and magical music, definitely not to be missed!
The wonderful melodies of Viennese Operetta are experiencing a spectacular revival at the moment due to the long running success of Andre Rieu and his Viennese Orchestra, and early booking is recommended!
