Saturday Stage School present THE WIZ - The Wizard of Oz with a Motown Urban Twist
Following on from their productions of Billy Elliot and Jungle Book, you can now enjoy Whitley Bay based Stage School's latest production of The Wiz.
Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion take to the yellow brick road in search of the Emerald City with the help of the wonderful munchkins.
This wickedly amusing show is a carnival of family fun - full of great songs and dance.
Adapted from 'The Wizard of Oz' by L. Frank Baum - book by William F Brown - music and lyrics by Charlie Smalls.
Please note this is an amateur production performed by Saturday Stage School.
At the start of the 2pm performance, there will be a short performance by juniors followed by a short break then the beginning of The Wiz will commence.
