Regional Youth Ballet Present 'Les Sylphides'

Join the Regional Youth Ballet and see upcoming stars of tomorrow, their cast of 60 local dancers ages 8-18 will be performing the ever popular classical ballet ‘Les Sylphides’ to the delightful music of Chopin.
This is followed by a wonderful mix of variations from classics such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker with the enchanting Sugar Plum Fairy, La Fille Mal Garde and the ever popular Fan Variation from Don Quixote. More Unusual pieces include Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and a high kicking Can Can.
There really is something for everyone to enjoy!


Regional Youth Ballet is now an established dance company giving local students a chance to perform under the expertise of fully qualified professionals. It is an amazing tribute to the dedication of their local dance teachers.
The dancers are chosen by audition and then cast into challenging roles, weeks of intensive coaching culminate in an outstanding performance for all to enjoy.
