Buddy Holly's Winter Dance Party
In January 1959 Buddy Holly began a string of dates across the American mid-west, "THE WINTER DANCE PARTY TOUR" which included Richie Valens , Big Bopper , Dion & the Belmont's and of course Buddy Holly himself . 50 years on from what was to prove to be Richie Valens, Big Bopper and Buddy Holly's final concert we present a celebration of their music with Dion & the Belmont's music included. From the early songs such as Buddy's 'Blue Days' through to 'True Love Ways', Big Boppers 'Chantilly Lace' and 'Running Bear' Richie Valens 'Donna' and 'La Bamba' to Dion & The Belmont's 'Run Around Sue' and 'The Wander.' Buddy Holly's WINTER DANCE PARTY will have you dancing in the aisles and remembering the music of days gone by with a four piece band and film footage from the 1950's along with four men who can only be described as true to the originals .
